What is the UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete Program?

This program has been set up to offer a more comprehensive coverage to those who might not have access. If you are eligible or have both Medicare and Medicaid, you could be eligible for the UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete Program! Using the benefits of the UHC Dual Complete Program allows for all your dental procedures done with Southridge Dental to be 100% covered!

Am I eligible for the UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete Program?

Figuring out if you are eligible for the program is pretty straightforward! The main eligibility requirements include:

  1. Eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare?

Medicaid Eligibility:

  • You are under age 65 and qualify on the basis of disability or other special situation.
  • You are at least 65 years old and receive Extra Help or assistance from your state.

Medicare Parts A and B Eligibility:

  • You’re at least 65 years old, or you’re under 65 and qualify on the basis of disability or other special situation AND
  • You’re a U.S. citizen or a legal resident who has lived in the U.S. for at least five consecutive years.

2. Do you live in the plans service area?

If you answered yes to the questions above, there is a good chance that you qualify to have your dental procedures 100% covered! We accept most types of dental insurances and we’ll file claims on your behalf to maximize your benefits based on your coverage and policy limitations. We also provide complementary benefits and eligibility verification on your behalf before your first dental appointment.Unfortunately, dental insurance may only pay a portion of your dental care regardless of how essential the service may be to your dental health; that is why we offer internal payment plans or financing through third party institutions such as CareCredit.

Southridge Smiles Membership

Southridge Dental also offers our own dental insurance program – the Southridge Smiles membership! There are several membership tiers for you to choose from and the membership is active for 12 months starting the day you join. Our plan is simple and straightforward:

  • NO Deductibles
  • NO Limits
  • NO Waiting Periods
  • NO Problem

With the Southridge Smiles plan, you are entitled to the following each year your membership is active:

  • 2-4 cleanings per year, depending on membership type (Child, Standard, or Periodontal)
  • 2 examinations per year
  • All necessary x-rays
  • 2 emergency visit exams per year during normal business hours (including prescription and necessary x-rays)
  • In-office fluoride treatments (2-4 per year)
