Invisalign® Invisible Braces
Invisalign® aligners from Southridge Dental
Invisalign® Aligners (Invisible Braces) is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional metal braces. Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of clear, custom made, removable aligners that gradually move teeth gently and over time, correcting the teeth and their position to a new revitalized smile.
Invisalign treatment requires a new set of aligners every two weeks to straighten or correct your issues. Invisalign aligners are worn all the time, except when eating and drinking, or while brushing and flossing. Designed with aesthetics in mind, Invisalign aligners are barely noticeable and won’t have an impact on your daily routine.

A Noticeable Change
Without the hassle of traditional braces!
Invisalign® Invisible Braces
After wearing each aligner set, results will be noticeable as your teeth begin slowly adjusting and aligning to your desired smile. Periodic check-ups are required so your progress can be evaluated and you can be given the next set of aligners. This sequence will continue until you have achieved your new, Invisalign smile.
Invisalign invisible braces can be used to treat the following orthodontic conditions:
- Crowded teeth
- Spacing between teeth
- Overbites
- Under Bites
- Crooked or turned (rotated) teeth
Treatment time is typically 12 months, depending upon your specific condition and degree of misalignment. Dr. Sean will provide you a treatment plan that will include an approximated time for completion of the Invisalign Invisible Braces treatment. Every two weeks, after your exam, you will be given a new set of aligners to take home with you.
Clear Aligner Questions
We Hear Most
Can clear aligners fix teeth that shifted after braces?
Often, yes. Teeth can drift after earlier orthodontic treatment, especially when a retainer hasn’t been worn. Dr. Simper will look at how far they’ve moved and how your bite fits together, then tell you honestly whether clear aligners are the right fix.
How often do I switch to a new set of aligners?
About every two weeks. At each checkup we look at your progress and send you home with your next set, so you always know where you are in the plan.
Are clear aligners a good fit for a busy adult?
For many adults, yes. The aligners are barely noticeable, and you take them out to eat, drink, brush and floss, so they work around your day. The one rule: wear them the rest of the time, or the plan slows down.
Can clear aligners close gaps between my teeth?
Spacing between teeth is one of the things clear aligners treat, along with crowding, overbites, underbites and turned teeth. Whether it suits your gaps depends on their size and your bite, which we check at your consultation.
What happens at a clear aligner consultation?
We look at your spacing, crowding, bite and gum health, answer your questions, and tell you whether aligners fit your case. If they do, Dr. Simper gives you a treatment plan with an estimated finish date. Most treatment takes about 12 months, depending on your teeth.
